Navigating our current file structure has been a challenge, with nested folders making it difficult to find files, let alone determine the most recent version. This complexity led to wasted time and confusion for our creatives and project managers.
To address this, I proposed a streamlined solution: creating an "Archive" folder for previous versions, while keeping only the current editable and PDF versions easily accessible. Additionally, I recommended reorganizing the nested files to simplify the structure and eliminate unnecessary clutter.
When finding an editable file, we went from 11 clicks deep to 3 clicks deep.
