One Good Café was an initiative to raise awareness on mental health in young adults, while promoting Lidl’s best feature: bakery products. The idea was to have a mobile shipping container pop up in cities around Ireland. This container was to be a safe space to get teens to start talking about their lives with someone they look up to. To attract more people, Lidl would sell and give away coffees and pastries.
As the lead designer, I conceptualized a cute, hipster café, where young adults would sit and enjoy being in the moment. I wanted the aesthetic to promote a positive atmosphere, while feeling unique and easy-going. I used the color gold, because it represents it is the color of happiness, strength, positivity, and growth.
